Romantic Victorian Wedding Venue
Seven Gables Victorian Inn in Pacific Grove, California is the most recent, and charming venue that we've seen in a long time. Located at 555 Ocean View Blvd, and built in 1886 you'll find charm for days! With every bedroom facing the dreamy Monterey Bay, Kaelene and Christopher set the stage for a phenomenal intimate wedding weekend by choosing this property. Pacific Grove is a postage stamp-sized town, tucked right between Monterey and Carmel. Blink and you'll miss it!
Two years ago they met online and talked with each other every day for six months. Christopher had left the state to go to medical school, and Kealene decided to drive out to him for their first in-person date. Things clicked right away and they found they shared a love of cooking, baking, and ...Costco!
Monterey and Carmel area weddings are popular and you can see why in their stunning wedding photographs. If you've always dreamed of being a barefoot bride on a beautiful sandy beach with waves crashing as you walk down the aisle, then you might want to consider having your intimate wedding or elopement in this area. Kaelene purchased some beautiful foot jewelry to embellish her barefoot look.
Our hair and makeup team came to help her turn her wedding vision to life. This beautiful redheaded bride-to-be looked darling in her long peek-a-boo gown with shorts underneath. She took notes on Pinterest, and had beautifully customized wedding details, from coordinating Hubby and Wifey sweatshirts to their ring boxes and vow books, and his groom's gift which were cufflinks.
There is no shortage of beautiful parks and beaches here you can choose from this area. Kaelene and Christopher walked across the street from their bed and breakfast to Lovers Point Park. This location has a lot to offer! If you're having an elopement on an off-season weekday you won't need a permit. If you have a larger group on a weekend or during peak wedding season we suggest obtaining an event permit through the parks department. We are happy to assist with obtaining your permit.
Lovers Point Park has it all. If you can time your elopement wedding to coincide with low tide, you'll have access to a larger section of the beach. You'll find beautiful rock formations to pose on and around. There's greenery, walkways, and the Monterey Bay as far as the eye can see. You can relax and unwind as you enjoy the softly lapping waves while you stroll the beach and your photographer takes candid pictures of you enjoying your wedding day.
If you want to get married in the Monterey area but have a larger group, you might want to look at nearby Berwick Park. You can get a permit for a large, private grassy area with lovely green cypress trees swaying overhead and providing shade for your wedding. We have packages that include wedding officiants and have performed many ceremonies in this park that sits right on the edge of Monterey Bay. It doesn't include beachfront property, but it has huge boulders for many photographic opportunities. If you're interested in renting white wedding chairs for a more structured wedding vibe, this location is ideal. It's easily accessible for those with mobility issues.
After their beach wedding surrounded by their close family and friends, they had a lovely celebration meal at the Seven Gables Inn and spent their honey moon at this magnificent property.
