A True Elopement!
A San Francisco City Hall elopement, with a surprise boudoir shoot after the wedding!
Sometimes you just have to leave everyone and everything behind and make your own space for your wedding vows. Eric and Annie gave everyone the slip, and it's not that they don't love their friends and family, but it's nice that they were able to focus on each other and the excitement of their very special day.
One of the benefits of this type of wedding, is that you have a lot more time and energy for your couples portrait session. You can almost add a little boudoir into your portfolio if you're game, and Eric and Annie are definitely not lacking in the passion department! Now, not only do they have gorgeous wedding images, but they have something with a little spice that they can put up, or hide from the kids, and just take a look at when they like.
It doesn't take a lot to make an image in the boudoir style. A little leg showing, or the hint of cleavage. It can be as subtle as you like, or as daring. The black and white image we took, was actually a suggestion from another bride the day before, and Annie was wearing just the right type of dress to pull it off, so we went for it, with very nice results.
I love boudoir and I've been shooting it for many years, so I'm thrilled to work a little into San Francisco City Hall!
