Hi, I'm really glad that you're here. Once upon a time, I was planning a wedding, just like you are, and it was a pretty terrifying experience. I didn't have a big budget, but I did have fifty relatives to feed and entertain. I didn't know who to turn to for help, or which vendors I could trust, let alone afford. I felt helpless and worried about being embarrassed or judged. Coincidentally, I had just enrolled in a respected college for wedding photography. That program set me on the path to my life's work – helping people get married in the most positive way possible. To me, that means it's affordable, beautiful, and an experience to be proud of. Whether it's a big wedding or an elopement, these principles guide me.
That's why I built this company, the one I wished had existed when I was planning my wedding. When I started my career as a wedding photographer, I'd arrive at the couple's wedding venue not knowing anyone else they had hired. The officiant, hair and makeup artists, florist, and videographer would all be bustling about, focused solely on their assignments. I can't imagine working that way today. My team and I are a close-knit group, working with warmth, trust, and commitment to bringing your vision to life. Our couples notice how their wedding team members help each other get the best shots, communicate, and share a genuine bond. We've all worked together many times, which is something unique to us.
Alongside my incredible partner, Shawn, who shares my love for fitness, travel, and community, Rachel Levine Wedding Planning and Photography supports Muttville Senior Dog Rescue and plants a tree for every couple who books with us through One Tree Planted.

Leza Strayer, Bridal Team Coordinator
Leza is the other half of your wedding experience with us. Once you've completed the wedding planning with Rachel, Leza will step in and handle all communication with your wedding day team. She'll reach out to each team member working with you, so they have a complete overview of when and where they will be needed. She is a master of organization and timing, and will connect with you by text or email seven to ten days before your wedding date, so that you have a clear picture and timeline of your special day. After your wedding is complete, she and her assistants will create and deliver a beautiful online gallery of edited images for you to enjoy and proudly share with friends and family.
